Purpose: Radiometry test site with large homogenous regions
Description: Dry-lake playa, located on the border of California and Nevada along I-15. It is smaller than Railroad Valley and at a lower elevation, but it is by far more convenient to use and is more spatially uniform.

Google Earth: Looks very smooth and homogeneous in intensity and color.
Support Data: DOQ Available
Suitability: Recommended for VNIR and SWIR Bands
Limitations: Seasonal variability
