Purpose: TBD
Description: Airborne and ground-based data have been taken to estimate the site's BRDF. Used for a variety of calibration and cross-calibration studies. Background aeolian dune system at a scale resolved by Hyperion allowing geometric studies as well as spectral calibration studies. Not easy to access on the ground. AERONET site. (Source: CSIRO Earth Observation Centre Web site, http://www.eoc.csiro.au/hswww/Hyperion.htm#Calibration%20&%20Validation).

Google Earth: Not spatially homogeneous in intensity and color at detailed and intermediate scales, but reasonably spatially homogeneous in its heterogeneity when averaging over 15 km by 15 km.
Support Data: TBD
Suitability: TBD
Limitations: TBD
